ACHIEVEMENT OF PRESENT ADMINISTRATION UNDER THE CARETAKER CHAIRMAN, HON. OJO ADESOYE OLUWASEUN

• Repair of Mikano generating set to facilitate uninterrupted power supply within the secretariat complex.
• Restoration of electricity in the secretariat complex to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
• Repair of earth moving equipment for prompt maintenance of road network within the Local Government Complex. Such machineries include:

-           Grader

-           Low Bed Truck

-           CAT Bulldozer D6

-           Excavator

• Filling of potholes from Ipeba to Pontela junction.
• Grading of Osupa-Kajola Road.
• Expansion of Ipeba-Pontela-Opete Road.
• Renovation of 2 blocks of three (3) classrooms at Baptist Basic School, Ajaawa.
• Building of a block of three (3) classrooms at Obaninsunwa Village, via Ajaawa, Ward 02 with water closet toilet.
• Deforestation of congested Local Government Secretariat Complex to allow full ventilation and accessibility.
• Completion of ultra modern boreholes at the following villages:

1. Olukosi Village
2. Apata Tao, Ajaawa Ward 01

• Olorunda Village, Ajaawa Ward 10

1. Anikan Village, Ward 02

• Complete renovation of the Local Government Secretariat Complex involving:

1. Replacement of all windows and doors
2. Replacement of wornout roofs

• Painting of the whole Secretariat Complex
• Provision of ultra modern hand driven well for Fulani at Ward 04.
• Provision of a standard grinding machine for Nigeria Prison Service, Ogbomoso Zone.
• Sponsorship of five (5) students to Oyo State Technical University with N5million each.
• Clearing of road verges along Pontela-Olode-Otamokun-Opete Road.
• Grading of Ajaawa-Kajola-Oke Gestemani Road.

Clearing of road verges along Ipeba-Mosunmaje-Ajaawa-Pontela Olode Road.

• Construction of a motorized borehole with a serving and functional generating set at Aba Alaaye.
• Construction of a motorized borehole with a serving and functional generating set at Owode Elega.
• Construction of a motorized borehole with a serving and functional generating set at Ayede.
• Construction of a motorized borehole with a serving and functional generating set at Odo-Oba.
• Construction of a motorized borehole with a serving and functional generating set at Ayegun Keji.
• Repair of seven other boreholes that were not functioning across the Council Area.
• Opening of many feeder roads across the Council Area that has been abandoned for over thirty years.
• Grading of roads aimed at enhancing movement of farm products to urban centres.
